Here you’ll find information about safety warnings, disclaimers, affiliate programs and any other thing I can think of!
*A note on the affiliate links found on this site: Whenever possible, if a product meets my requirements for referral: it’s a good value, is a product I like or love, is something I’ve used or am familiar with, if it looks interesting (but, I haven’t tried it) and/or it relates to the techniques discussed on the page, I will supply a link that is an affiliate link – if one is available. My affiliates are with companies that I know, trust and have a relationship with. Not all my links are affiliate-based though – some are strictly informational.
Affiliate links allow me to pay myself a small amount to warrant my full-time (plus lots of overtime) job of providing you with free information. By purchasing through my affiliate links, you are helping to support not only this website but, also my 112+ videos found on YouTube. I thank you for your help because, without your assistance, I would not be able to provide this free service.
Affiliates explained (in my words). An affiliate link is simply a link that directs you to a certain product say, a hammer. If I like the hammer, I will recommend it to you. If you like how it looks and want one too, my link will take you to the vendor’s site where, via my link, you purchase the hammer. For me researching, using, typing, recommending, linking that product, I receive a few cents for that referral. The hammer doesn’t cost you any more than you would pay without the link, we don’t spy on you or share your information. It’s like a small sales commission. Companies that don’t offer affiliate programs take advantage of our referrals. You read about their product, go to their site and purchase the product but, the person who sent you there gets nothing for the referral. They win, we worker bees lose. Most people don’t work for free and neither do I. If I cannot find a product via my affiliates, I will provide the name of the company that does but, I will no longer provide links to their products. I hope this helps to explain affiliate links and my reason for using them. Thanks again for your support!
